Summer is almost over but the sun is still shining and outdoor activities are still calling. Maybe you spent a little too much time lounging by the pool or forgot to apply your SPF 30 when you hit the beach last weekend. Now you have a nice rosy sunburn that you need to treat and conceal.
1. Start by applying a super hydrating serum like the one in Karuna’s Hydrating Face Mask. The cooling gel will feel amazing on your dry skin!
2. REN’s Vita Mineral Rescue Cream is so thick and luxurious – perfect for dehydrated, irritated, and sensitive skin.
Follow these steps and your sunburned cheeks will look fresh and healthy in a matter of minutes!
Summer makeup is not an easy subject for a 40+ mother of two boys living in a quiet Southern California town. Let’s face it, if we tone it down any more we would have to reverse make up … and I don’t even know what that means. But this is what I do know: if you like makeup (I adore it) and want to wear something without looking too done-up, there are a lot of products out there that you can be thankful for.
A great face can start with a great primer. Luminos Moisturizer by KEYS is amazing. This is 100% natural, and the scent will let you know it (it’s almost medical). It is fab for a complexion that needs more moisture for a little evening out. It really helps with redness, too. Next I like applying the ever-so-light Glo Minerals Sheer Tint Base. Then I add Glo Minerals Contour Kit in medium-dark. Finally I add some brows and mascara. Maybe a bright summery lip, and voila! I am ready to sweat in the park with my kids. Just add some eyeliner to go to dinner with the husband. Simple as that!
